The company founded in 1998 in Alexandria as naval architecture & marine design office MOMCO with intention to provide qualified projects for marine industry. 

As response to the booming on the marine offshore oil and gas industry the business expansion took the office to higher level to present OMEC to the market as design and consulting engineering company providing the most efficient and cost effective solution for the marine offshore oil and gas industry.

In 2019 the company expanded the consultancy scope to include maritime and port consultancy with a diverse experience of our local, regional and international based consultant.
